On Monday, A magnitude of 7.4 earthquake hit the south coast of Fukushima, Japan which resulted in Tsunami. A wave of 60cm arrived near the coastal area and thousands of people were affected.Two of the important nuclear reactor were shut down. Japan accounts for about 20% of the world's earthquakes of magnitude 6 or greater. The quake on 11 March 2011 was of magnitude 9, the strongest quake in the world on record.
